DETROIT - The Millington robotics team, Redneck Robotics, competed in another FIRST in Michigan event this past weekend on the campus of Wayne State University. Redneck Robotics competed against 39 other teams in the district event.
During the event, Redneck Robotics finished second place with their alliance. The team won two awards; they were a District Event Finalist and won the Rookie Inspiration Award. The team is coached by Randy Guinther and Kayla Flintoft
With the second place finish, the team has qualified for the Michigan State Championships which will take place April 6-8, 2023 on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University.
