The following Tuscola Technology Center students have recently participated in or will in the near future, state and national competitions for their Career and Technical Student Organizations.
Bret Holmes and his team finished in 3rd place in Construction Team Build at the State SkillsUSA competition in Grand Rapids. Holmes' team includes Collin Machota (Kingston), Brandon Hopp (Reese), and Cooper Shores (Reese).
Vienna Middleton competed in the Culinary Arts portion of SkillsUSA this past weekend in Grand Rapids. At the same event in Grand Rapids, Nathaniel Oakwood competed in Extemporaneous Speaking, Mariah Ellis in Collision Repair, and Caidon Mosher in Job Interview.
Joslyn Brooks will compete nationally at the Distributive Education Clubs of America competition held in Orlando, FK from April 21-26. She will be part of the Chapter Awards Project.
J'Lynn Aguirre and Olivia Bailey will compete at the HOSA - Future Health Professionals state competition in Traverse City on April 27-29.
