With the new school year less than a month away, Millington Community Schools has hired a few new staff members. In order to get to know them better, we asked them a few questions and will post the answers here every week. Our second spotlight will be on our new kindergarten teacher - Ashlie Inskeep.
Ashlie is a 2015 graduate of Millington Community Schools. She attended college at Delta Community College and Saginaw Valley State University.
Ashlie is the daughter of Jeff and Darlene Rivard. She is the middle child with an older and younger brother. They are a very close family and love going up the cabin during the summer and riding the boat. Ashlie is married to Dakota Inskeep and they have a son, Jaxon. He is their world.
Ashlie's hidden talent is that she can voluntarily shake her eyes.
When asked what she feels will be the best thing about working at Millington Community Schools, Ashlie replied, "I am beyond excited to be working at the school I grew up in. I am excited to get the opportunity to work alongside my peers and to have the opportunity to grow with my students.."
