With the new school year just a week away, Millington Community Schools has hired a few new staff members. In order to get to know them better, we asked them a few questions and decided to introduce you to them. Our fourth spotlight will be on one of our new teachers at the Jr./Sr. High School - Claire Breinager.
Claire attended Frankenmuth High School and Saginaw Valley State University.
Claire's father, Victor, was born and raised in Millington. Her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all still live in the area. Claire's mother is from Frankenmuth, so there is always some good rivalry talk in their house. Her sister, Faith, is studying law and politics at Siena Heights University while playing softball. She has a very close-knit family that likes to spend as much time together as possible.
Claire's hidden talent is that she is an excellent euchre player.
When asked what she feels will be the best thing about working at Millington Community Schools,” Claire replied, "The school district has been so welcoming. I am excited to be working and coaching (JV girls basketball) in a close-knit community."
