BAD AXE - The Millington Marching Band competed at the Thumb Friends of the Arts Marching Band Festival on Monday, October 9 at Bad Axe High School.
Thirteen different schools competed at the event, and the Cardinal Marching Band received a 1 rating, which is a superior score.
The Thumb Friends of the Arts is a non-member school musical festival organization managed by Quad N Productions, LLC of Caro.
The Thumb Friends of the Arts was established in November 2003 and set two goals:
- Provide opportunities for our local children to develop and showcase their artistic skills
- Provide opportunities for our communities to see professional quality performances.
