The Frankenmuth Credit Union Foundation for Our Communities recently granted Millington Community Schools two grants totaling $1,500.
The first grant was for $1,200. The monies will be used to restock the food pantry run through the school district. The second grant of $300 will be used to provide warm hats and gloves for those students in need. The money was awarded from the foundation's Feel the Warmth campaign.
"We truly appreciate all the work you are doing on behalf of your school," stated Jenny BIckel the VP of Member Experience at Frankenmuth Credit Union. "We value all that your school brings to the community of Millington and feel that awarding these funds will help you make a positive impact."
Foundation for Our Communities, a community re-investment effort created by the credit union, grants funds to local organizations that seek the betterment of their community.
